Six of Swords

The Six of Swords is a card of travel, moving, and reassurance.

First, if you don't have a trip coming up, perhaps you are in need of one. It's very easy to become stagnant in familiar surroundings. Exploring new places is a great way to introduce new energy into your life.

Perhaps, too, you have been working way too much, and need to schedule a much needed break down the line.

Remember, in order to be truly effective at work, or with anything you are juggling, you need to take a break to recharge yourself. It will not ruin your momentum, but give you the energy to keep up the endurance.

On the reassurance side of things, if you are feeling at wits end, or unstable, know that things are about to get much better and that you are going to arrive on solid ground.

Sometimes life takes us out with the tide, and we feel like we are drowning, and that no matter what we do, no matter how much we try to make things get better, we are just caught up. This is the point where you have to swim or float with the current for awhile. Be patient while doing this, and know that it will be over soon. Even if you don't see the shore yet, you will arrive on it safely.

Just breathe. Don't feel like you need to be anything specific right now, don't fight for normalcy. Just be whatever you are in the midst of, and suspend expectations for yourself, beyond knowing that you have the strength to persist, and that a way will be found, that things will eventually be easier.

While you are waiting to meet the shore, it might be helpful to try to look for ways to cope in the present as well. Meditation is a great source of healing for that, journaling your thoughts is helpful, and reaching out to people who nourish you also helps.

Again, hang in there. Things are going to be okay.
