Ace of Swords

"You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength." - Marcus Aurelius

Element of air power: Air power is metaphorically related to swords. A new thought slices through your mind in the same way as a sword can slice through the air, cutting through ignorance or unawareness. The Ace of Swords indicates that one is about to experience a moment or breakthrough in what seemed to have been chaotic. A new thought often cuts through dense confusion, just as a sword cuts through a thick branch.

The Truth comes through in this process; this card represents that moment in which one can see the world from a new point of view, as a place that is filled with nothing but new possibilities. It is, therefore, the best time to work on your goals - as the aces all give a kind of right-of-way or route that is acceptable and are sign posts to indicate opportunities and new beginnings.
