Hello, I read all of this but still do not fully understand what it means. My lover is going home to Hawaii for a 3 week visit and I so want to go with him but of course I cannot. I am a full time care taker of someone who needs me and of course I cannot afford such a trip. I asked my lover to spend some time with me before he leaves for his trip but as of right now I have not heard from him setting a time for us to be together. I miss him already.

If I am supposed to achieve what I truly want than why have I not heard from him today about tomorrow possibly seeing him, when will he call and make arrangements to see him before he leaves next Tuesday? Will I and if so when will I see him before he goes to Hawaii? How much time will we be spending together, if I see him before he goes? Is he ever going to tell me that he loves me? Is he ever going to ask me to marry him? Should I marry him if he asks? Why do I still have so many questions when the above reading says that my questions, fears, and desires be fulfilled.

    Sincerely,
    Agnes

    Safina,

The lotus tarot site’s learn tarots says
    4 of Wands
    – Perfected Work
    – positive: satisfaction, completion, new home
    – negative: decadence, snobbishness, impatience
The Instruction Book of the Raider waite tarot Deck says
The reversed meaning of the Card remains unaltered.

How do we interpret the negative association of this card.

For any card, reversal of the card and the negative association are they one and the same meaning do we interpret the same meaning in case of reversal or for -ve association?
As for the four of wands what is the negative association or the reverse meaning or significance?

    Warm Regards
    Karunaagaran

The reverse meaning of the “Four of Wands” suggests a lack of stability and security because you are not ready for a long term commitment.
