does a computer just randomly pick cards for me?

well, no actually, but if you're wondering whether Alison is sitting on the other end of the internet connection, knocking out readings in 5 seconds flat, then of course the answer to that is also no!

obviously we use computer algorythms (that's a fancy word for programming) to generate the reading, but we've worked incredibly hard to mirror the real life reading process.

you decide how many times you want the deck shuffling, the computer then shuffles and lays the cards out in front of you. you choose your cards with the mouse, just as you would do in real life with your finger.

the computer then matches the card and card position with an interpretation previously written by Alison. it's exactly as it would happen in real life, well more or less.

some people think that this may limit the scope of the reading, and while it's obviously not as effective as sitting face to face with the living breathing Alison Day, there are over 52 million different possible reading permutations in the 6 card reading alone!!
