Remember Your Past Lives?

I recently had the good fortune to go on an adventure to the Isle of Lewis in the Western Isles of Scotland. It was an incredible experience, not least because when I arrived, I immediately felt a strong connection and instant familiarity with this place, despite it being my first time there. How many of you have had this experience?
I believe these experiences are sometimes past life rememberings and sometimes the activation of memories inherited from our ancestors passed down in our DNA. I really felt a longing to reconnect fulfilled right down into my deepest cells and feel that some of my ancestors must have been or passed through here, a long, long time ago.
This concept is really fascinating for me, the idea that our DNA could hold not only the blueprint for our physical bodies and aspects of our personalities, but also a record of the knowledge and experiences of generations of our relatives who came before us. What we do know is that science has yet to uncover a lot about DNA in the field of genetics research and the experience of past lives. There seems to be so much that is still not known and yet to be explored by science.
