Monster Moon in Aries ~ 29 September 2012
In you don’t already know, this month is due to close with a very volatile full moon in Aries this Saturday. The relative position of other planets in the sky will combine with this moon to create what will feel like an astrological lightning storm for all of us from now until around the 4th of October.
There is quite a buzz online about this moon and for good reason. We are all in for an unpredictable time of surprises, awakenings and breakthroughs. Events and relationships in our lives will feel as explosive as nitroglycerine in this charged and intense time.
Some astrologers are literally warning people to hide out until the storm is over. This isn’t necessarily bad advice as it is true that there will be real potential for high drama in the heat of the moment. However there won’t be anything you can’t deal with. Just remember to breathe.
All things are always working for our highest and best good. Aries is all about breaking down the old and clearing the way for the new. While this time may feel quite raw and extreme, I believe we can use this energy for transformation, like a purifying fire to burn away the old and make way for the new, melt things down and remake them.
The energy of breakthrough this Aries moon brings is symbolised in Tarot by the Judgement Card. This card shows up when we need to blow the whistle and call time on what hasn’t been been working in our lives. It symbolises change and renewal for the better.

I have had a rocky September already. I feel like the monster moon hit on the10th when my boyfriend of 2 years ended our relationship. Every thing you say about this upcoming full moon sounds like what I have already been experiencing. Kind of overwhelmed with what may be coming in the next few days. I miss my guy, but know he won’t come back. So I am trying to let go in my heart. Trying. Some days are better than others.

It has been a rocky month for many people and in particular the influence of Pluto and Uranus have seen a lot of people break up. There is hope though.... Things will calm down from October 6th onwards xx

Hello, would just like to say...this whole year...in fact past couple years have stressful and trying enough!! Sure hope this abusive full moon doesn’t additionally impact my life, although if it is to bring ending to a lot negative things in my life...it could be a blessing! I just hope and pray for the possibility of anything to come brings positive and happy things for once...

Hi Sandy, we’ve had Saturn in Libra since 2009 which has meant most of us have had a pretty trying time in relationships, especially love! See this full moon as a blessing to give things one final blast so you can see what absolutely has to change so you can be happier. Harness the energy in that way and you will see some very positive results. We’re all due a much happier time soon from October as Saturn will finally be done with the tests and lessons in Libra and will move in Scorpio... XX

Hi, I also have had problems in my (now over) relationship since 2009 (the birth of our first child) their father and I do love each other deep down but everytime we would conquer one problem, another few would arrive untill it all got too much for us. I saw above that you said Saturn will move into Scorpio in October, what energies will this bring compared to Saturn in Libra? Or where can I find information on it? I am new to astrology and how it works, thanks.

Is it really true that after Oct. 6th things will change for better, for people who have been suffering for the last 3 years? I’ve been sufferring much in the professional front. I have been losing jobs for no reason and with no indication. And I am not getting any interview calls either. Really bothered about my future existence in this world

Hi all! As for this “Aries Moon”, in Chinese culture we celebrate our Moon Festival on September 30. We light incense, eat moon cakes with our family, pray and make wishes. We consider it to be a wonderful and positive time. It’s a neat little celebration!
