Tarot by HHOriginally by Drew:- Ok what are some things one should know when creating spreads? Should there always be a present situation, an action, and an outcome I have been really finding myself drawn to the 5 card spreads Thanks for all your help [/quote] Drew, you are putting the cart before the horse! Start with a single card, ask a succinct question, write it down in your journal, and then draw or deal the card Write what you see, what you feel, what you suppose, what you would like to know about the card, your keywords, and how the card gives insights or options on the questions Lean the cards in your deck, one-by-one As you go throught the process of learning the cards, you will also begin to see the relationship between the cards and as that understanding is strengthened, the possibilites for spread positions begins to become apparent Follow some of the spreads in the Archives and in the Readings and Spread Forum and learn how to interpret the cards from you deck in many positions There are few "always" rules in tarot Patience is one of the lessons the cards will teach us if we are willing to learn it It's in the cards!
