Hello butterfly101 Firstly welcome to the forum, everyone here is really friendly
Secondly I'm sorry to hear you are so upset at the moment
Destiny is a difficult one to answer, but I don't believe anything in life is set in stone
Having said that, I also believe that we have the power to shape our own destiny
Years ago before I started reading the tarot myself, I consulted my regular reader who told me I was to marry my boyfriend the following year, and that I would only marry once
Sure enough the proposal came and we were married the next year as predicted
I was all set for a future of roses around the door type stuff
Well, six years on and I am now divorced and still scarred to some extent, from my disaterous marriage, and am most unlikely ever to get married again
So the destiny was there in the cards, but it didn't turn out as I had hoped
I am now with a lovely man who I could happily spend the rest of my life with, but have no compulsion to marry
However, he would love to get married, so I could change my destiny at any time
