Hi, I need some thoughts
I am learning tarot, and while practicing at work (short fast spreads) A woman at work refered a lady from a different building in the Downtown area to me, via E-mail
I did a reading for this lady, and the Tower card came up
She wanted me to get more of a reading to see exactly what the Tower card meant specifically
Originally the reading was for her job
whether she should look for a new job or not, within the company
Anyway, I did a small reading this morning before work, and here is what happened
I laid the Tower card out and then used the Minor cards for the reading
while shulffling, the 5 of swords fell out
Ialways take a card that falls out as having some importance to the reading
In this case in review, I took the card as meaning that the reading was on track and that I needn't worry if it was or not (which is why I'm writting) When I finished shuffling, I place two cards beneath the tower
first was the 8 of wands and the next was the 3 off hearts
her concern, despite the original reading being about her job, was that the tower relate to her new husband of 3 years and his up coming heart surgery
Their insurance can only afford part of the proceedure
I think only a valve where something more is needed
her fear is that the surgery will not go as planned and she will be widowed
Based on the cards, I feel that the Tower WAS relating to this surgery (3 of Hearts) but that he will (or she will) have the strength (8 of wands) to carry through whatever happens
Does this seem right? Also, I have never met this woman
so I don't know her
but if I am reading these cards right, and it is about her husband and his heart surgery, I want to tell her, but at the same time I don't want to cause unnessecary worry
you know? How should I handle something like this? I have never had a reading like this where the reading is going in what seems to be such a negative direction
I'm aware of course since the reading was about her job (which this surgery could affect by going bad) and since she was the one who brought this information to me, that I could be influenced by the question and her worries about something that may or may not have to do with the tower card in the original reading
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated!
