Tarot Pentacles and wands by karen
I read something interesting in the introduction of Rachel Pollack's part 2 of her Seventy Eight Degrees of Wisdom series(ISBN 0-85030-339-7)
She is talking about the 4 elements and how different decks sometimes switch wands and swords, but then she says that most often the wands and the pentacles are switched "on the grounds that sticks grow out of the earth, and coins are forged in a fire
" I have never heard this before or seen a deck with this switch
Is there any one familiar with this? (Happy???) Just very curious as it sort of makes sense but with my wishy washy ways you could make me see the points of changing all the elements and suits LOL
