I don't know what spread or other cards were in the lays, so that makes it very unclear what the meaning may have been

However, the Courts don't just represent people in our lives, although they can at times

More often they show us parts of ourselves, and the energy we need to adopt in a situation, or the energy we need to reverse and let go of

I associate my husband with all of the different cards at different times

He is primarily, however, a King of Cups/Hierophant

When those cards turn up in a lay, it's rarely in reference to him, however

It's far more often in reference to myself and what I need
