Just a quick note about the 6 of pentacles, I don't know if this card has been discussed before or not, I couldn't find anything

But one thing that struck me was that this man, though he is being charitable, is being very careful not to give away too much

He is making sure that his scale doesn't tip too far

Perhaps because he can still remember so vividly the hardships he encountered in the 5 of pentacles

By the time he gets to the 7 he realizes that hard work is what will keep him where he wants to be, not luck
