[/quote] In another forum it was suggested that another way to _see_ a card is to ask yourself : What person does this card describe What place What feeling What activity What knowledge or understanding or insight To which can be added that every card reflects a vast range of meanings, in order to look at that range begin with your basic meaning of the card and then examine that meaning as a reflection of light/dark, postive/negative and the whole gamut between the polarities

As Mysti reminds us, an ill-aspected card will most frequently be the polar opposite of what we have come to expect
