Hi Breezy! I, too, can sympathise with your predicament

I was lucky in that one of the decks recommended by Alison Day for her online course turned out to be great for me in that I had already had some background in its theme (Greek mythology) and found that the cards felt right and spoke to me personally

* In many respects it might simply be a case of trial and error until you find one that's right for you

I do respect the advice, though, about going for the Universal Waite (or RWS) on the grounds that that is the one for which there is most information available in English
