I know myself, that I am guilty of reading for other people without asking and it wasn't until I came to Lotus Tarot that I had any cause to question that! Personal ethics are just that - personal - and what ever you decide is fine, you read for your son because you care, that's lovely! There are so many intricacies to tarot, the formulated questions, the meanings, the types of readings, the symbology, a constant learning journey! I hope I didn't put a damper on the reading you did for your son
