Tarot by HHOriginally by mireille:- Thanks Happy and Bea for making my reading a whole lot clearer by showing me the guidelines I have been onto the thread and read up about asking questions, but obviously I needed to read it again!
Asking questions is not intuitive, or at least it wasn't for me! I have spend a great deal of time formulating what *works* for me I was under the misguided conception that one could ask questions about others in a reading I feel as though I have done my son an injustice by reading "for him"
Oh no, never! You were demonstrating your concern and your love for your son! That can never be an injustice NEVER! So it would seem, even by re-phrasing the question, using your guidelines, it would still be an invasion of his privacy, if I had asked, "When will my son receive his insurance money?
How about, "What actions can I take to assist my son with his difficulty?" or "How can I help my son in this situation?" I am so glad I happened on Lotus Tarot, because, I am sure that there are others who are "new to tarot" that may have been under the same misguided notion Do you have a thread on "ethics in tarot"?
I just so happens! http://www.free-tarot-reading.net/forum/viewthread.php?tid=125 It is important to recognize that each of us will use the tarot in any number of ways, and just because I do not read about someone, that does not negate your ability to do so I feel like I have had an even bigger lesson in life from this As a mother, I want to help my son as much as I can and in doing so, perhaps I have "overstepped the mark" and interfered I am still learning to let go
{{{{Mireille}}}} that's how Moms are!
It's in the cards! HH
