Dear Celeste, I brought the Mythic Tarot (copyright details provided in earlier posts) because of the images I had seen on Lotus Tarot's reading section
I think it was the Temperance card that was the source of my need to buy the deck
Having said that when I got the deck home after having only seen a few images, I was initially disappointed
I felt that I should have received a "gut" or "lightning-bolt" feeling that this was the:- deck for me, but even though I didn't get that feeling I decided to persevere - and I am really glad I did
I enjoy the storylines, they help me to remember the DM's, visually, to my eye anyway, it's a nice deck and I am still discovering things about the images and indeed myself by using these cards
I didn't know much of greek mythology, excluding what I had seen on Walt Disney's Hercules movie, what can I say, I have three small children!
I imagine I will buy another deck, I don't know when though, I'm still giving Mythic Tarot a good work out!
So Celeste, stick with the deck you have chosen for your lessons but some time in the future have another look at the Mythic Tarot!
