Tarot by Mysti

I think Mysti mentioned about making collage tarot cards, and using sentimental items to do with her children and grandchildren, in her creative forum, [/quote] I do share the Tarot with my grandchildren, and I do love it when they draw tarot cards for me

I think what I mentioned was that I have artwork from all of them that I was saving for making a quilt

I am thinking of using it for a collage Tarot now

I even have a box of artwork by my own children

(Not all the artwork is tarot, btw

yet so much of it would work so well

) I think things that are so intimate and personal really do make things quite memorable

I also think about the original artists of Tarot cards, and I wonder if they realized the depth of what they were creating with their images? We know that Waite and Crowley did, but what about those very early decks? I'm not wandering as much as it sounds like

My point with that is, I wonder what we will discover about ourselves by working with our own imagery in this way? I think it's wonderful!
