Tarot The Connolly Tarot by Mysti

Connolly Tarot Deck Eileen Conolly and Peter Paul Connolly Copyright 1991 by U.S

Games Systems Inc

ISBN 0-88079-437-2 I just received this deck in the mail the other day

Some of it is rather jarring to my senses, in particular the Death card which is actually called Transformation in this deck

The imagery appears to tell the story of Christ arising from the dead

I find this a "too mild" rendition of Death, but I realize that first impressions can be changed

My own is that Death represents something we are facing, not something that is behind us

Perhaps I am misunderstanding the meaning of her imagery there

I do love the bright, bold colors of the cards, and some of the different imagery she uses does deepen my understanding of some cards

I don't have the book that goes with the deck, and I prefer that right now anyway while I am looking at the cards for the first time

Still I'm wondering what her actual meaning behind some of the cards is

If anyone else has this deck, or knows of it, please share
