Tarot card collage by karen
My idea to help me learn some of the specific keywords to each card was, after my notes on each card-make a collage of each, using headlines,pictures and whatnot, with the idea that this would help glue(haha) the meanings in my head
I am starting with the ace of cups (I am doing the lesson dealing with cups) and what I have so far on my page is: for the key word -going with your gut feeling-I cut out a picture of a Marine, simply because it reminded me of my son's abrupt decision to become a marine after 9/11 and serve and protect
for the key words responding sympathetically-I found an article about a benefit for the family of a boy who was killed in a motorcycle accident
For the keyword forgiveness-I chose to put the name of my corner store
for the keyword intimacy I put the heading for the marriage licenses list falling in love/establishing a bond-I found this beautiful picture of two tree swallows pecking at each other
This represents just one section of the newspaper, later I will find more but this was fun
I was using the keyword lists in Joan Brunning's book "Learning the Tarot" published by Samuel Weiser, Inc
