Tarot by MystiOne of my favourite examples of those differences is Crowley's delaration regarding the Chariot, "His only function is to bear the Holy Grail "(1)
But, but, but I AM the Holy Grail Oh wait that wasn before:- I got inducted into the HAOC's You know I'm going to have to puzzle on that for a loooong time don't you? He says of the Seven of Discs, "The disks are arranged in the shape of the geomantric fiugure, Rubeus, the most ugly and menacing of the Sixteen .The discks themselves are the leaden disks of Saturn They suggest bad money "(2)
Even the look of the card is heavy and foreboding I've always seen the 7 of P as that little break just before harvesting the bounty a little breather before plunging in to hard work again "bad money" is an interesting comment Such as that unfairly gained by causing harm to another I suppose Such a vast difference in meaning! The card is even called "Lord of Failure"
