[b]My new deck has arrived
[/b] While i was away the ancient egyptian tarot deck came!! I am so pleased with it!! and i have already been studying the images and recording my thoughts and feelings into my journel
It feels so right and the book is brilliant, the egyptian scenes in the minor arcana portray daily life in ancient egypt, the images are easy to follow, you would be able to understand them without the book, because they closely follow the waite interpretations, but the book is the icing on the cake!! The major arcana tell a story of The egyptian god Orisis and his wife/sister Isis, the early majors, 0 to 8 introduce the major gods, and the later cards, 9 to 21, tell the story of the death and resurrection of Osiris
It is an absolutely fascinating myth and helps in gaining a better understanding of the cards!! I am so pleased, i think i will use this deck for alison`s course, i feel confident i can make the transition from the deck i started the course with to this one

If you have read my thoughts on the 2 of cups in the pleasure of the tarot course forum ( under lesson 5 ), i can only say, i wish you could see the card in my new deck, because it shows exactly what i am trying to explain!!
