.it has definately rung a bell with me!!*Lol* As always, your insights and thoughtful words are a joy to read! and i totally agree with what you`ve said
( same wavelength and all that!!) Anyway, i have just finished lesson 5, ( ok, i know i am slightly behind,but i have been away!) and i found the cups a joy to work with
I do agree with you bluemoon ( again!) that the 8 of cups portrays a lonely and dark journey, and that it is something that has to be done
But i also see it as a courageous journey to seek out new discoverys, stepping out into the big wide world, alone, and leaving all things comfortable and familiar behind, a journey of self discovery and new beginnings
Another favourite of mine is the 2 of cups, I have studied this card during this lesson, and also i have taken this card from all my decks and studied each one in turn
Although each deck is different, the 2 of cups says the same message to me
It shows me the first beginnings of a new relationship, anticipation, butterflies in your tummy, heart beating just a little bit faster, a warm feeling from head to toe, the beginning of a love affair that will bring much love and joy, a union of 2 people
In some respects i see this card has strong as the Lovers card, the way the couple look at each other, their body language, it just feels that way to me
But hey, thats me, abit of a romantic you know!!
I have really enjoyed this lesson, the cups are my favourite suit, i seem to be more in tune with them, must be to do with my sensitive side!! *Lol*
