Tarot by bluemoon

Hi Caz! I am already on record as saying that I prefer my suit cards to have images on them

At this stage of my studies, I feel it just gives that bit of extra help and stimulus for my intuition

As for your readings, I think you are expressing a common problem: that of objectivity/subjectivity when reading for oneself

Why not post one (or more) of your readings on the forum? You are bound to get some interesting feedback on them which will help clarify things for you

With regard to the outcome card, the way I am interpreting the spread we are being encouraged to use here is as follows: the outcome is what should transpire if:- you follow the advice of the advice card

I am, therefore, focusing on the positive side of whichever card appears here on the assumption that the advice offered by the Tarot is good (if it isn't, then we should all pack up and go home now leaving the last one to turn the lights off on the way out)

Now, at the risk of over simplifying matters, if you follow good:- advice, how can the outcome be bad? For example, in an earlier post on a reading asking how my Tarot studies would pan out, I got the tower in the outcome position

I did not see this as disaster and destruction but rather as reassessment, reevaluation of values, liberation from an outmoded and unhealthy mindset, on the assumption that I follow the counsel of the advice card (in this case, the sun)

Should the card in the outcome position appear in the current situation position, then, of course, there might well be negative as well as positive attributes to it depending upon the precise situation being described and the question being posed

Does this make sense? What I am saying is that the interpretation of the card is partially but nonetheless considerably influenced by its position in the spread and by its relationship with the other cards in that spread

Hope this is helpful
