Tarot by beaThis poem is pinned up in my Chiropractor’s reception area I read it every-time I go there and think, “Gee, I like that!” Today, when I read it again, having a little more tarot savvy, I thought “Hey, this poem is about the Fool!” So instead of doing an analysis on the card from my deck, I share this with you I do not know the author, and haven’t seen it anywhere else I hope you like it! The Burning Dream I dared to dream a burning dream, of sounds unheard, of sights unseen; a drum that tapped a different beat, a growing flame, a burning heat I dared to stand when others bent I dared to go where no-one went I raised my head above the crowd, I took a breath and cried aloud: “I want to be a better me, to be the best that I can be I want to walk beneath the sun and do the things I've left undone” I took a step and then one more, I spread my wings, prepared to soar Some held me back They thought me mad, crazy, reckless: maybe bad But I kept my eyes upon my dream, that sound unheard, that sight unseen, and helping hands reached down for me to lift me up, to set me free New friends saw what I could see; said: "Be the best that you can be! You can do it! We're proud of you!" So I spread my wings, and then………I FLEW Edited to amend annoying typo's
