Tarot lesson 3 reading by karen
I finished lesson three tonight and did a three card reading using the suggestions given by Allison for the positional meanings
My question was what do I need to know about my relationship (and I probably shouldn't have asked but
) I used my Robin Wood cards (published by Llewellyn ISBN-0-875-42-894-0) and for reference I looked at Tarot Plain and Simple (By Anthony Louis,Llewellyn Publications ISBN-1-56718-400-6) Positional meanings: 1)reflects current situation 2)advice the cards are giving me 3)the outcome My cards: 1)The Tower 2)Justice 3)The Moon The tower and Justice (oh, so much about Justice lately here) are really pretty clear to me
The tower is telling me that currently my relationship is really shakey, that I need to break through the binds that are holding me
Justice is telling me to weigh my decision carefully, looking at all sides of the situation including the others point of view
(my problem here is that I usually end up being overely sympathetic to his being hurt by a change or my daughter being without a father-OH-could that be what the tower is about?) (Wolfchild, I am keeping in mind the chart you so nicely did for me)So maybe I am being told to stop being so nice, and fair, and considerate - no I don't think so
I think I am just confusing myself here with my own ramblings
So here we are to the Moon as my outcome, again
But this time my first thought when I saw this card was a memory of when I was a kid (long,long time ago) and I used to race as fast as I could to see if I could get away from the moon-she always followed me, and I use to take great delight from this-I don't know why but I did-but it struck me tonight-I can never seem to get away from her
As the outcome, again I am confused so I reread what (HH) wrote in my last reading "Change IS coming
The secret lies in the understanding that the past,the present, and the future are one continuous process
" [/quote] And I believe that what this card is telling me is that no matter what may come-it will be a change and depends on my actions now
(Not that that is really a big help ) Ok every one- I would love input, and you don't have to worry about being gentle
