Celeste, the reading I did is different but I don't think the readings you have received are mutually exclusive
I did find Joan Bunning's interpretation of The Devil card intriquing, in particular -- adding that word "ignorance" opened up a new area to consider, and I felt it was important to include
Later I thought perhaps the "ignorance" might refer to you not having 100% of the knowledge you need for the new job
Often promotions involve taking a class or learning something new "on the job
" I would be interested to know what parts of the readings you feel are "contradictory" or cannot be reconciled with each other
