[/quote] I fully appreciate the purpose of doing this spread as [b]an exercise[/b]; however, I note that we shall be using the major arcana only and wonder, therefore, if anyone can say a little about the rationale behind that? To my mind, there are 78 cards in a Tarot pack and, whatever the question asked or insight desired, I would have thought it appropriate to use all:- of them in order to capture all of the possible nuances of the situation and shades of meaning that might obtain
As I say, I fully support the task in lesson 3 as an exercise in reading but am intrigued by the possibilities of using one part of the pack only
No doubt there are readings that use only the minor arcana or, indeed, only the court cards?
