When I opened the box I was initially disappointed [/quote] Ditto, Bea! Part of my disappointment lay in the fact that the images are a little simplistically drawn, not like some of the spectacular artwork in other packs I have seen (on the Internet)
However, unlike you, I did already have some knowledge of Greco-Roman mythology so the scenes and characters depicted spoke to me from the off
Furthermore, despite what I said about the artwork, the images are drawn well enough for me to *see* things as I contemplate the cards and they certainly do serve the principal purpose of any Tarot deck which is to act as an effective conduit for intuition and imagination
Ultimately, then, I am happy with my choice and I am enjoying applying it to the online course, too
