Tarot Oh Arrrrrgggghhhhhh! by MystiI had meant this post to go under the other thread on intuitive readings How embarassing I tried my hand at automatic writing but soo got tired of it, nothing ever happened Can you tell me more? [/quote] I also get bored quickly with automatic writing I'll try to explain more For me it really began during a very difficult time with the illness I have I was bedfast and quite isolated You would think I would have been bored to tears, yet instead I began to see symbols on the ceiling of my room I had read a few books on different intuitive styles and remembered a suggestion about sealing the questions away so you don't know what you are answering, so I began to write very clear questions one to a note page, and seal them in envelopes Then I would lay them across my abdomen and gaze at the ceiling in a completely relaxed state, with the envelopes unmarked so I had no idea which question I was seeking insight to I would speak into a small recorder as the images and scenes appeared to me I found I would know very soon after laying the envelope on my abdomen which question I was answering I was afraid I might be giving myself some sort of clue, so I had family members write questions and seal them ( I make sure all the notes are folded in the same way so that there is nothing to clue me in ) I honestly believe that anyone at all can do it and do it accurately if they can relax enough and be still enough to "hear", "see", "taste" and even "smell" It isn't hard It requires being able to put all else out of your mind and trusting what you receive without interpreting it as you see it that comes later I don't know if this is helpful or not I hope so I have found it to be a great way to reduce stress as well as a way to get guidance from the Universe
