Tarot I do intuitive readings

without knowing the question
I just have the person write it on paper, fold it up so the writing doesn't show through, and seal it in an envelope
Then I just lay it across my stomach and watch what symbols appear to me and record that
It's a form of scrying I imagine
I'm finding it difficult to transfer that to the cards, although it does seem to be getting a bit easier to see what the lay is suggesting without letting it overwhelm my intuitive sense as I have used it
I think it takes a bit of time and practice to begin to become confident enough with the cards to let go of traditional meanings and trust your own sense of them
