Tarot are keys

Nothing more, nothing less

I’ve known folks who read tarot by not turning all of the cards in a spread face up…some read face down

Heard tell of a woman who wrote the numbers 1-22 on sugar packets and gave amazing readings all night long

I know a guy who reads toothpicks

The issue at hand…is that some folks have rules that are assigned to tarot

Go to a bookstore – look at all those books, and all those words

Each author tells you about His (or Her) way

They give meanings for the cards, “The Six of Wands means THIS!” Arguments start over card meanings

Spreads…holy gawd there are books on spreads

Read on an airliner once and you learn that spreads are meaningless

My favorite is the little bunny of death… There are truly…no rules to reading tarot

There are guidelines that allow you to learn

However if you stick yourself into those little guidelines, you will suffocate your own spiritual growth

I love it when folks first open a set of Soul Cards

“Where’s the book? What do these cards mean…?” Something different every time

Just like the five of pentacles

Indeed it does have a different meaning every time – dependent on the cards surrounding it…and the spaces between the cards…and that which speaks without a voice… Robert…you read just fine…
