Tarot lesson 1 by karen
I did lesson 1 yesterday and really enjoyed it
I have used the Robin Wood deck for a long time then switched to the Universal Waite but yesterday I took good old Robin out of her box and it felt like an old friend coming home
After such close scrutiny I discovered there were many cards I really felt drawn to but the cards that I felt uncomfortable about really surprised me so I thought I would share them
The first was the 4 of cups he seemed to be such a stingy unhappy man
Then there was the ace of wands and this one really surprised me but the brightness of the card I found unsettling like it would burn out.Justice I found to be intimidating-so stern and the one sword was sheathed indicating to me that Justice is blind
The cards I were attracted to kind of surprised me as well
The eight of cups-the man turning his back on everything in pursuit of something missing from his life
The queen of cups, and the star just appealed to me
Death and the Devil also intrigued me(if those people would just let go
) The ace of pentacles I loved,(paradise comes to mind) and the Queen of pentacles-she just kind of blends into the background
The 3 of pentacles-the man making do with what he has and no complaints and thats it
Some of them surprised me Anyone else have any that struck them one way or the other?
