I've been thinking about reversed cards, that is, why do we need them? It seems within the Major Arcana (and minor, but that's another story) there are opposites represented
.the Fool is naive spontaneous, and inexperienced while the Magician is wily, skillful and controlling, the Empress is domesticated and nurturing, the Emperor is worldly and authoritative
Why reverse at all? to show that one is misusing the energy?
