Tarot Lesson 2 by Celeste
Hello All, I have just completed lesson 2 today
I found it absolutely brilliant!! When i saw what lesson 2 was about i was quite pleased, because when i first studied tarot i started with the major arcana, and i concentrated on nothing else but them for about 3 months
so i feel i had a bit of a head start
Alison`s interpretations were easy to understand and informative,but not in a long winded way!! It seemed to me that most of the negative meanings were reversed and/or weaker than the positive meanings,do you think that is the general feeling amongst tarotist`s or not, thats how it seemed to me
The card i felt closest to was the Empress, the reason being the association with spring
Of all the seasons i love spring, it is my favourite time of the year! The renewal of the land after the winter months is truly magical and amazing
The flowers bursting through the earth, the tree`s heavy with blossom and new life being created makes you feel glad to be alive!! There is a feeling of replenishment, and abundance fills the air
The Empress for me signifys this time, like mother earth, bringing creativity, fertility and prosperity to all around
A truly heartwarming card
Sorry i think i may have got carried away a bit there, i just had to share my feelings!! I look forward to lesson 3 with abated breath!!! kindness always Celeste
