The attributions of male and female to the cards are not just Alison's, but are traditional
However, some tarot decks alter this pattern
You might enjoy working with a deck that uses female gender for the Pages, for example
There are several sites on line where you can look at the cards from various decks (one is tarot.com) You'll be able to tell what "gender" is assigned to the court cards
