[/quote] Is the problem you are having with Alision's descriptions:- of the cards, or with the ordering of the court cards, King, Queen, Knight, Page? There is a very long and well-established tradition for the ordering and numbering of the cards
Most decks are orderings in that way and it has been a bone of contention since early in the 20th century.There are decks that have addressed this by eliminating all the males from the courts
This feels unbalanced to me, and I don't feel good using this method in my readings
[/quote] What method are you using? In my tarot system I refer to the cards as the deck creator titled them, but the cards in readings are genderless, in most situations
In point of fact I have had a very King of Swords day
.but that does not reflect my gender, just the attributes of the cards
