Hi! Difficult and stressful are not words I would associate with lesson 1 (which I have just completed)
Fascinating would be much more appropriate
I found it so interesting that words, ideas and, in some cases, whole phrases came into my mind as I looked at the cards
True, some generated more material than others and some were clearly "pleasant" cards whilst others were "distasteful" but what pleased me most of all was that I was actually able to complete the exercise for each and every card and provide an initial (and doubtless naive) reading for each one
Yes, I have started a Tarot journal (more of a notebook really) and, yes, I am still in a state of excitement :) Best wishes
