[/quote] Why is that your conclusion? For many years fortune telling parlours were seen as beyond the pale and tarot readers reputations were ever more removed
Over the last twenty years or so tarot has gained a certain hard-won respectability
It is my personal opinion that as a tarotist I need to do everything in my power to see that my business is run legally and in full compliance with local and state ordinances
I do not think it is onerous to be law-abiding and it certainly has not stopped me from creating a nice business and a respectable client base

However, for tarot to be seen as respectable it is the responsibility of every tarotist to be respectable
