In my tarot experience the very spreads that have been the most revealing and that had the most impact are spreads developed based on the querants question, created to give insights and options and to empower the querant to act on lessons and messages of the cards
For myself, creating spreads has been a natural outgrowth of learning about the cards and coming to an understanding of the symbols, signs, and icons contained within each card
I have a fairly large inventory of two, three, and four card spreads that I use over and over in relatively standard ways, but for me part of the excitement, the satisfaction, and the impetus of doing a reading is customizing a spread for my querant
