Hello Joanne, Sometimes:- feelings of premonition that appear as physical discomfort are not premonitions at all, but are body memories, or a failed body memory

We all depend on body memory to get us through at least part of our day-to-day existence

Our bodies remember the position of the keys on our keyboards in much the same way that a dancers body remembers specific movements, hand and arm positioning, where to place the feet

Have you ever had the experience of getting up to get *something* and in the process forgetting what you were after? Part of that disassociated bewilderment is a physical response, a lapse or a gap in/of body memory

Our body memories can be triggered by certain physical action, by smells, by sensations such as touch or taste, or by a mental memory

Shuffle your cards and allow your mind and your body to relax into the rhythm of the actions

Lay three cards face down, the first in the center, the second to the left, and the final card on the right

The middle card represents your moment of foreboding; as you turn the card face up be aware of your physical reaction to the card, to the imagery, to the moment

Spend a few minutes studying the symbols and make a mental note of how you feel and what you see within the imagery and the meaning of the card

The card on the left represents an option on how to deal with your experience

How do you feel about the card, what do you see within the card? The card on the right represents a second option, does it feel better or worse? Does the tableau resonate within you, how do you respond to the card

Leaving the cards in their positions record the spread in your tarot journal

Some of the things you will include in your entry: the cards in their respective positions, the meanings you assign to the cards, your feelings, your reactions, and your responses to the cards individually and together

Return to the cards in 24-48 hours and again closely examine them in their positions and then together

Make notes in your journal of how you felt when you first did the spread and if your feelings have changed since then

Make notes of how your reactions to the cards individually and together have changed

Has what you see within the cards changed? It’s in the cards!
